The Perry KOA Welcomes You!

Bill and Terri Glennon, managers of the Perry, Florida KOA Kampground, are truly committed to their campers. "We want our customers to feel that our campground is their home away from home," say the Glennons. "We want our campers to have a lot of fun at our campground. Our staff members truly care about people having a great camping experience."

Before becoming campground managers, Bill owned a construction company for 20 years. Terri worked in Accounting and in Human Resources. In 2005, Bill learned that he needed a liver transplant, so they bought an RV and moved close to where Bill received the medical care.

Bill is healthy and happy now, in his role as campground host, "We enjoy meeting and talking to people from all around the world. We've made many special friendships with people we have met through camping - they are truly special people."

The Glennons are proud of the new items added to the campground since they came: new activities, food service, a pool cabana and solar panels that allow the pool to be open year-round. Plans for more great amenities are in the works for the future.

When Terri and Bill are not hosting campers at the Perry KOA Kampground, Bill and Terri love spending time with "their baby" - their Harley Davidson - and staying in touch with relatives throughout the south and west, in Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico and California.

Meet the Owners

George and Becky Black have been successful in business for many years and have owned many businesses, mostly in the material handling field, operating nationally. In 1996 they bought a very unsuccessful mobile home park. They converted the park into an RV park. In 2005 they joined the KOA system, continuing to improve the park. Perry KOA added kabins, kottages, a store, snack bar and many other general improvements. As managers for the past two years, Bill and Terri Glennon have been instrumental in those improvements. Perry KOA is now part of the top 5% of all KOA’s and has won many awards. George and Becky live in Panacea, Florida at Ochlockonee Bay, on the Gulf of Mexico.
